Canada’s Pediatric Palliative Care Alliance’s literature review, Mending the Gaps: A Systems-Focused Rapid Review on Pediatric Palliative Care for Health Leaders, has just been published!

This review identifies global challenges and strategies that can guide efforts to strengthen access to and delivery of pediatric palliative care in Canada, where large geography and dispersed populations present unique barriers. Recommendations to address these issues include enhancing education, streamlining access, and increasing awareness. The review emphasizes the need for coordinated efforts among health leaders to create a more integrated care system that prioritizes nationwide awareness, access, and capacity-building, ensuring PPC services meet the needs of all children and families, regardless of location.
