The Sunflower Palliative Care Podcast X Canada’s Pediatric Palliative Care Alliance

Advancing equity in palliative care: Reflecting on care for structurally vulnerable populations

We’re proud to share a 5-part podcast series created in collaboration with Two Worlds Cancer Collaboration and The Sunflower: Palliative Care Podcast.

This series brings together pediatric palliative care providers and voices from equity-deserving communities to explore how care is delivered, where it falls short, and how it can be reimagined. Through honest conversations and lived experience, each episode offers critical reflections on the current system and meaningful insights into how pediatric palliative care can become more inclusive, culturally safe, and responsive to the needs of all families.

Join us in listening, learning, and working toward a more equitable future in care.

This episode features host Rachel Neufeld  in conversation with Dr. Naheed Dosani. Dr. Dosani is a Palliative Care Physician, with the Department of Family & Community Medicine, St Michael’s Hospital, Unity Health Toronto; Founder & Lead, Palliative Education And Care for the Homeless (PEACH), Inner City Health Associates; Medical Director/Health Equity Lead, Kensington Hospice/Kensington Health; Health Equity Advisor, Canadian Partnership Against Cancer; and Assistant Professor, Department of Family & Community Medicine, University of Toronto.
